This whole VH1 thing may not excite you, but I think it's cool as all heck. I've never seen Top 20 Countdown (or whatever it is) before in my life, but I'm sure as hell going to wake up early (9:00 AM - argghh) to check it out.
But the host getting the whole Queen City Treatment is awesome! Heck, that's how we got the NAACP convention, right?
This is how we should treat all out-of-towners. Whether they're your best college buddy or a client flying in for the night. Show them the sights. Take them to a local eatery or take in a local sporting event.
You can start by taking someone to the viewing party on Saturday at Stone Creek Dining Company at 9386 Montgomery Road, Montgomery!
Tune in to VH1 this Saturday from 9-11 AM to see our city portrayed as "cool" before a national audience.
