Debate?

Why is this even a debate? 21 versus 18? Here's my take:

Who cares. Kids are always going to be getting their best friend's kid's mom's housekeeper's dog's cousin Rico to buy them beer.

I think what should be done in this country is that we don't have all these random ages at which things magically get "okay" to do. There should be one age where BAM! you're legally an adult. If that's 18, then so be it. Once you turn 18 you can do all the things adults do: smoke, drink, drive, have sex and make asses of themselves at Oktoberfest in three weeks!
