On the heels of the Phase III Gateway Quarter kick-off, the local blog scene got a personalized, inside look at the "Q" and all its developments. It was nothing short of amazing. Indicative of the happenings in OTR, a new store was opening up, with creative marketing techniques abound. A Lucky Step, a contemporary furnishings store, made sure that every passer-by knew it was opening day for them. They enlisted the help of the Black Cowboys association to ride around with megaphones advertising the event.
It was a great time, but the buildings were phenomenal. Duvaneck Flats had great outside decks, Duncanson Lofts had some real edgy finishes, and Centennial Row were great townhomes that will be especially in an awesome spot once SCPA and Washington Park are completed. We also got a sneak peek at the brand-new project underway, Trideca Flats. Trideca is going to integrate some new construction elements while still paying homage to the traditional, historic overtones o

It will feature a rooftop deck for seating and an intimate interior. A new restaurant, boutique clothier and a bakery have yet to be announced. There are some prime retail spaces available, but rumors are still buzzing about who is or isn't moving in to join the likes of Park+Vine, Mica 12/v, City Roots, and Metronation.
It's truly remarkable what is happening. People can no longer deny the momentum is there - it's plainly visible, and there is no end in sight. Those in the driver's seat have a clear vision and funds to boot. We're lucky to have such visionaries spearheading these projects in Cincinnati. Thanks to all those who helped put on the event!
